WAREHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A 16-year-old girl from Raynham was fatally injured in a car crash Monday night, according to Massachusetts State Police.
Troopers from the State Police-Bourne Barracks responded to a single-car crash on Route I-495 in Wareham just before 11 P.M on Monday night.

A preliminary investigation by police shows a 2008 Toyota Sienna veered off the road into the grass median, went down an embankment, and hit a tree, according to officials. The teenage Raynham girl was alone in the car and was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police. Her name has not been released at this time.
The reason for the crash is under investigation by Massachusetts State Police. No other information has been released.
