DEDHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Now that the verdict in the Karen Read murder re-trial has been handed down, so ends the criminal prosecution leaving civil proceedings to begin.
But for now, the post-verdict legal analysis is underway including asking the many questions about the trial.
One of those questions that won't be answered, at least for a while, is who was on the jury?
Just after the verdict was read Wednesday finding Read not guilty of the most serious charges, Judge Beverly Cannone issued an order impounding the jury list sealing it from public view.
That order is in effect for 10 days but it could be extended.
