BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Services issued a recall of frozen chicken nuggets sold at Wegmans over reports of bone fragments.
The recall is for 46-ounce plastic packages, with the label “Wegmans Family Pack Fully Cooked Breaded Chicken Breast with Rib Meat," and a “best if used” date of Aug. 26, 2025.
The report comes after many people reported finding fragments in their nuggets. The USDA is urging people to check their freezers, and to throw away or return the nuggets to the store.
Other states included in the recall are Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
