BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Red Sox manager Alex Cora has tested positive for COVID-19, the team announced Thursday.
Cora tested positive shortly before Thursday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Red Sox say Cora, who is fully vaccinated and boosted, is experiencing mild symptoms.
Will Venable will manage Thursday's game, and Cora will not travel with the team to St. Petersburg for their series against the Tampa Bay Rays.
