BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Massachusetts Democratic Congressman Seth Moulton reacted to the claims by former Nevada state assemblywoman Lucy Flores that former Vice President Joe Biden inappropriately touched her and kissed her head in 2014.

Both Flores and Moulton appeared on CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday.

“That’s not easy what she just did on TV. It takes a lot of courage and god knows she’s going to get a lot of backlash for talking about this,” Moulton said.

Flores’ story came out on Friday in an article she wrote for New York Magazine. Flores was running for Nevada lieutenant governor at the time the alleged incident occurred.

Moulton said Biden needs to answer to the accusations.

“He said we need to listen to women and he is right. We need to listen to women,” Moulton said.

Moulton is currently considering a run for president in 2020.
