BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — NFL.com says that wide receiver Antonio Brown has signed with the New England Patriots.
This comes just hours after it was announced that Brown had been cut from the Oakland Raiders. Brown had demanded he be released from the team.
"I'm not mad at anyone. I'm just asking for the freedom to prove them all wrong," Brown wrote on instagram Saturday.
Last week, Brown was fined more that $215,000 after criticizing the Raider's general manager.
According to NFL.com, the deal is for one year and $15 million, "with a $9 million signing bonus."
