LEXINGTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Middlesex District Attorney's Office is investigating an officer-involved shooting in Lexington from Saturday afternoon.
The incident happened near Hancock Street around 2 p.m. and it is unclear if anyone was injured.
Lexington Police confirmed on Twitter the Hancock Rotary and surrounding roads are closed due to an active investigation. The department asked drivers to seek alternate routes in the area. There is no immediate threat to residents in the area, according to Lexington Police.
