Report: Raiders Expected To Hire Patriots OC Josh McDaniels As Head Coach

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Las Vegas Raiders are expected to hire New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels as their new head coach, the National Football League Network reported Sunday.

McDaniels served as offensive coordinator on and off for the Patriots for two decades (from 2005 to 2008 and from 2012 to 2021), including six Super Bowl titles. McDaniels was the head coach of the Denver Broncos from 2009 to 2010, for two seasons.

McDaniels will be reportedly joining former Patriot Dave Ziegler, who will be the Raiders' next general manager, the Raiders announced Sunday.
