REVERE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A large fight broke out near the bandstand on Revere Beach Boulevard at 5 p.m. Saturday evening, with several hundred people gathered in the vicinity.

The Massachusetts State Police told WBZ NewsRadio in a statement that one male juvenile suffered a head injury during the brawl, and was sent to Mass General Hospital for treatment. Officials closed the roads that feed into Revere Beach Boulevard, and deployed additional State Troopers from neighboring barracks to assist with crowd control.

The MSP also says they sent K-9 units and an Air Wing to assist in the disturbance.

Officials say there have been no arrests made related to the incident, but that they are looking for a group of suspects who were potentially seen wearing ski masks. Police say those suspects fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.
