REVERE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Revere Beach sports bar is sponsoring a new weekly fun run.
The Fine Line sports bar is now sponsoring the weekly three-mile fun run on Monday nights. The fun run is the brainchild of Jason Pollutro, an architect from Winthrop who likes running. He told WBZ's Carl Stevens he got the idea to start the run and have a local bar sponsor it as a way to help the community connect with each other.
"Lots of folks from all these places run along Revere Beach, sometimes every day," he said. "[This can help] get them together to meet each other and can be social and get together for some fun exercise and then maybe some food after and some drinks."

The fun run takes place every Monday night at 6:30 p.m. and starts and ends at Fine Line. If runners manage to complete the entire fun run, Pollutro said there's a reward at the end.
"There are some discounts on pizza at the end of the run that runners can partake in and stay as long as you want," he said. "Stay until closing if you want."
