Revere Man Charged In Death Of Woman At Boston Hotel

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Massachusetts man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a woman at a Boston hotel in March.

43-year-old Aaron Parsons was located and arrested by the Boston Police Department's Fugitive Unit and the US Marshals Maine Violent Offender Task Force in South Paris, Maine on Wednesday.

BPD's Homicide Unit sought an arrest warrant for Parsons earlier this week, for the charges of manslaughter and engaging in sexual conduct for a fee. He was also charged with fugitive from justice.

According to BPD, shortly after 12 p.m. on Friday, March 13, officers responded to a radio call for a cardiac arrest at Verb Hotel on Bolyston Street in Boston.

On arrival, they found an unresponsive adult female victim, later identified as 29-year-old Sarah Dorany of Maynard, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

While police at the time said it appeared she had suffered a cardiac arrest, on July 28, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled Dorany's death a homicide. According to the U.S. Marshals Office, Parsons had strangled Dorany and then fled to Maine.

BPD said Parsons will be held at the Oxford County Jail "until his arraignment and subsequent rendition."
