BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Road tests for those looking to get a driver’s license in Massachusetts will soon be resuming after being cancelled or postponed because of COVID-19.
The agency is directly contacting those individuals who had a test scheduled for March, April, or May to set up a new date.

The RMV is not taking any new applications until they can reschedule everyone that was already on the list.
Test takers will not be able to use their own car. The agency said it is only offering tests in specific state vehicles or driving school vehicles. Those vehicles will be cleaned and sanitized after every test.
