BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Roulette games are back in business at two casinos in Massachusetts, with player limits and safety regulations in place.
The state Gaming Commission voted unanimously on Thursday to allow MGM in Springfield and Encore Boston Harbor in Everett to offer roulette with a maximum three players per table, separated by plexiglass.
After four months of closure due to COVID-19, the state's casinos were allowed to welcome gamblers for select games in July, however Massachusetts gaming regulators declined to allow roulette games to return during a vote in mid-August.
Now, under limited capacities, visitors can play small poker games, blackjack, slots, and roulette at both casinos.
