BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Bostonians got quite a show Monday morning when the Royal Air Force's aerobatic team, the Red Arrows, conducted a colorful flyover.
The team flew over the harbor around 11:20 a.m., blowing red, white, and blue smoke behind them.
Here in Medford at the WBZ NewsRadio newsroom, we had a great view of the flyover:
WBZ NewsRadio's Kevin Coleman captured the scene at Long Wharf, where a large crowd gathered to watch:
The team is in Boston as part of their eleven-week deployment to the United States and Canada. They're visiting a total of 25 North American cities while here, and are hosting events promoting STEM education.
If you snapped a photo of the Red Arrows this morning, check in with the UK's Boston Consulate by tagging your pictures with #RedArrowsTour to compete in a photo contest.
