SALEM, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A mother duck and her ducklings were discovered waddling in the wrong neighborhood, but luckily, the Salem New Hampshire Police Department was there to lend a hand.

Police say the ducks were in the middle of the Market Basket parking lot near Home Depot when they arrived on scene.

After wrangling the lost birds into a container, police brought the family of thirteen over to a nearby pond to be released in. SPD posted a video on Facebook capturing the ordeal.

Officials say that Officers Robeck, Lawrence, and Geha were responsible for the quick and swift save.
