SALEM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Nick DiGiovanni and Lynn Davis hold the record for the largest chicken nugget at 46 pounds and 3.34 ounces.
Salem, Massachusetts begs to differ.
City officials unveiled a new garbage truck named Chicken Nugget Friday. The truck is bright orange and emblazoned with the words "Chicken Nugget" and a smiling cartoon nugget wearing a hard hat and carrying a trash bag.

In December, the City of Salem tasked elementary students at Salem Public Schools to submit names for the new truck.
Residents voted on the suggested names and Chicken Nugget came away the winner with 374 of the total 1,077 votes cast, officials said.
The tasty name was submitted by student Elian Soto-Villanueva of Mrs. Corriveau’s kindergarten class at Saltonstall School. The class attended Friday's unveiling and was given yellow safety vests and chicken nugget-shaped keychains.
"It’s what it’s all about, just giving back and making people laugh, making people smile", said Teddy, the truck's driver.
