SALEM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Anyone who has ever visited Salem, Mass. knows that the witch city is full of unusual occurrences. WBZ NewsRadio’s Carl Stevens discovered one such instance.
The Salem vampire store, Vampfangs, will be hosting a blood drive.
“The kind of funny, ironic association between vampire store and blood drive catches people’s attention at first,” Vampfangs co-owner Benjamin Addam said.
Addam said the store will be sponsoring the blood drive later this month. It will be their first blood drive, but not their last. Addam said he hopes they can do a couple every year.
The blood drive will be held on May 18 at Hawthorne Hotel in Salem.
