BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Fans flocked to the Sam Adams Brewery in Jamaica Plain on Monday to get their hands on a limited edition Boston Bruins beer.
The release event began around 3 p.m. with the 400 packs of the Black and Gold beer available first-come, first-served.
Attendees were in agreement that the Bruins are great, but some disagree on whether to drink the beer or keep it in the can.
“I’m actually going to drink a draft beer and save the cans because that’s what you do as a fan. You have a souvenir, and then you drink it in the tap room,” one attendee said.
