PHOTOS: Sand Sculpting Comes To Revere Beach For Weekend Festival

REVERE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Sand sculptors from around the world came to Revere Beach for the 2019 International Sand Sculpting Festival this weekend.

Thousands came out to enjoy music, food trucks, and the sandy sculptures.

The sculptures had many themes, including one that marked the 50th anniversary of the Moon landing.

The world-renowned sculptors came from all around, including from Ireland, Germany, and Russia.

The sculptors began work on their creations days before the festival was set to start. WBZ NewsRadio's Carl Stevens went to check out the sand sculptures earlier this week as the artists prepared.
