Schools Are Asked To Prepare For Possible Scenarios For The Fall Semester

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — School departments are being asked to prepare for three different scenarios, according to Education Commissioner Jeffrey Riley.

According to Riley, the first model includes, "students return to school in buildings, but schedules, classrooms and protocols are adapted to meet health and safety requirements."

"A hybrid model, where some students would go back to school, while another group would stay home and learn remotely, and then they would switch" is the second model.

The third option is complete remote learning. Guidelines, such as mask requirements, are still being worked out by health professionals.
