Seaport Hosts First Of Six Outdoor Markets Supporting Black Businesses

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — With the season turning warmer, the agency promoting black-owned businesses in Greater Boston called BOS, held the first of its six outdoor markets on the Seaport Common on Sunday.

From gifts and apparel to packaged foods and beauty and skincare products, the ‘Seaport x Black Owned Bos. Market’ has something for everyone on select Sundays as it supports Black entrepreneurship.

One of the vendors is called 'Anchor’d Inc.' Shabrane Patton is the president. She said her products are designed to give back to the community. “Anchor’d Inc. is a 100% organic bath and body wellness boutique,” she said. “We create these products to be able to give back to local and national women’s safe homes.”

The markets are being held into the fall season: June 25, July 23, August 20, September 24, and October 8.
