BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Secretary of the Commonwealth William F. Galvin plans to visit an early voting location in Boston on Saturday, February 24, to energize Bostonians to get out the vote for the 2024 Presidential Primaries.
Galvin is scheduled to visit the BCYF (Boston Children Youth & Families) Roche Community Center in West Roxbury on Saturday, which is the first day of early voting for the Presidential Primary.
According to a press release, Galvin is encouraging voters to take advantage of weekend voting hours. Saturday is also the last day voters can register to vote for the primary elections. Voters can find their communities early voting schedule and locations by visiting the Secretary of State’s website.
The Roche Center in West Roxbury is one of 10 locations open in the City of Boston on Saturday for early voting.
Secretary Galvin will be available for questions about voting and voter turnout at the event on Saturday. it starts at 11:30 a.m., according to the press release.
Early voting ends on Friday, March 1. Election day in Massachusetts is Tuesday, March 5.
