NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Another minor earthquake was reported along Massachusetts' south coast early Sunday morning.
The magnitude 2.0 quake originated at Bliss Corner, south of New Bedford, the same location that produced a 3.6 magnitude earthquake on November 8th.
The U.S. Geological Survey said Sunday's earthquake was at a depth of 5.8 km.
According to the USGS, moderately damaging earthquakes strike somewhere in the region every few decades, and smaller earthquakes are felt roughly twice a year.
There were no reports of damage from Sunday's minor earthquake.
