Secure Your Belongings, State Police Respond To Surfboard Lodged Under Car

DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — While on patrol Monday morning, a Massachusetts State Police trooper responded to an "unusual call" on Route 195 in Dartmouth.

The trooper arrived on scene and found a driver needed assistance after a surfboard got lodged in the bumper of their car.

The vehicle that the board fell of off never stopped and police said they're thankful no one was injured.

"Please enjoy this beautiful weather as we get into the summer months AND make sure items are properly secured to your vehicles," said Mass. State Police.

So before you head out on the road, remember to double check items secured to your vehcile.
