Boston, Bristol County, Plymouth County, and the Cape and Islands were all under the watch. The agency said damaging winds, large hail, and severe downpours, along with the isolated threat of a tornado were all possible. The Service said the worst of the storms would likely be confined to south of the Mass Pike, between 1:00 and 9:00 PM.
