Shooting In Roxbury Leaves 1 Dead, 2 Injured

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A shooting at a house party in Roxbury early Saturday morning has left one person dead, and two others injured.

The shooting happened near 81 Westminster Ave. shortly before 4 a.m.

Upon arrival, police found two men, in their 20s, suffering from gunshot wounds. They were both taken to a local hospital where one was later pronounced dead.

Police later discovered a woman suffering from a gunshot wound about a block away from the party near the intersection of Ruthven Street and Walnut Avenue. She was also taken to a local hospital for treatment.

No arrests have been made.

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Boston Police Department.
