Six Flags New England Closed Wednesday For Storm-Related Cleanup

AGAWAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Six Flags New England closed on Wednesday for weather-related cleanup. This comes after a storm on Tuesday night.

The storm brought down tree branches and flooded parts of the park with several inches of water. A tree was also came down on the park's Fireball ride.

Several people posted pictures and videos of the storm on social media. Twitter user @BabalulovesKiki wrote to WBZ-TV that she had "never seen anything like it."

In a statement, Six Flags New England said the park "will be closed on Wednesday, June 30 to allow our team time to clean up from last night's storm. For additional information or guest needs visit sixflags.com/newengland."
