KILLINGTON, Vt. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Ski season officially kicked off in New England as Killington riders hit the slopes on Sunday.
At 11:00 a.m., the resort opened two lifts and 600 vertical feet of advanced terrain for pass holders. The slopes officially opened to the public Monday morning.
There is currently no beginner terrain available, and riders should expect snowmakingNo beginner terrain is available, and riders should expect snowmaking to be in progress throughout the day.
Sunday also marked the final day of the resort's bike park operations for the season.
