BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — 50 students from the Snowden International School in Boston just recently completed a visit to a series of HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) located in Atlanta and Washington D.C.

It's called the 'HBCU Tour Experience' designed to provide students the opportunity to experience black college life through campus visits while immersing themselves in local cultures.

Institutions they visited included the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta and the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington D.C.

This is the second consecutive year the students have taken the tour.

This trip was organized by the Black Educators Group at Snowden International School at Copley.

Snowden is a public, international, multicultural, and multi-lingual-focused, college preparatory high school.
