Somerset Police Looking For Bank Fraud Suspect

SOMERSET, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Somerset Police are searching for a man they say withdrew funds from another person's bank account without authorization.

The department said the man, pictured above, came into St. Anne's Credit Union on County Street around 11:07 a.m. on Thursday, August 15, to make the alleged fraudulent transaction.

Police said he showed bank staff a photo ID with the name of the victim, then took out $5,000 in cash. He then got into a silver sedan in a nearby parking lot, and drove off toward Route 138.
