Somerville Enters Phase Three Of Reopening

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — After weeks of delays, the City of Somerville is now in Phase Three of reopening. Most businesses will be allowed to reopen, including fitness centers, as long as they follow health guidelines.

Most of the state entered Phase Three about two months ago. However, beginning today, Somerville's gyms, yoga studios, and non-athletic instructional classes can reopen as long as they have a city-approved health and safety plan.

Guidelines include required face coverings at all times, both inside and outside, as well as scheduling for fitness classes ahead of time. Capacity must be limited to no more than ten for indoor and outdoor public gatherings.

Movie theaters and museums are still closed under this first stage of Phase Three.
