SOMERVILLE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — With National Corn Dog Day on Saturday, Somerville residents brainstormed the ultimate dish on a stick that would be perfect for a late winter day.

WBZ's Emma Friedman went to check out Kong Dog in Somerville, which is giving away free corn dogs to the first hundred customers in honor of the holiday.

Kong Dog, a national chain, offers a variety of fillings, treats, and toppings that customers can choose from for their creation. Somerville residents didn't hold back when it came to dreaming up corn dog creations of their own.
