RAYNHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — One business in South Massachusetts is looking to bridge the gap between people and healthy eating choices.

PlanIt Eats said that their mission is to be a "one stop wellness shop," offering meal kits to be delivered or picked up at one of their locations in Bridgewater, Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Raynham, or Weymouth.

WBZ's Kim Tunnicliffe went to the Raynham store, where customers can buy nutritious foods up front and exercise in the back with weights, ropes, and punching bags. Personal Trainer Jason Caldas teamed up with the PlanIt Eats franchise to offer training classes to clients. Caldas said that in addition to working out, meal plans are specialized.

"We try to do meal plans for you, sit down and do a consultation, get you set up on a package and plan that incorporates workouts and fitness as well," Caldas said.

PlanIt Eats said that customers can order six, ten, twelve or more meals a week to either get shipped right to their door or available to pick up in store. But for those who are picky eaters, Caldas said that there's something for everyone.

"We have gluten-free, dairy-free, artificial-free food that's all-home-style cooked meals, all-natural, fresh never frozen. We also have low-carb and keto options," Caldas said.
