Southern New England Set To See First Snow Of Season On Friday

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — As the cold temperatures continue to come in, southern New England is expected to see its first snow of the season on Friday.

According the National Weather Service, Hurricane Zeta is expected to bring wind and rain Thursday into Friday. This could potentially end in wet snow “across the interior, especially in the hills.”

Temperatures on Friday are expected to be between 36 and 48 degrees. And temperatures overnight Thursday into Friday are expected to be between 30 and 42 degrees.

WBZ-TV meteorologist Zack Green reports the highest snow total will likely be along the Massachusetts-New Hampshire border. And totals could possibly be three or more inches from Nashua to Manchester.
