BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Residents in South Boston are doing everything they can to stay cool on a Thursday afternoon, whether that means chilling by the beach or dipping toes into the pool.

WBZ's Kim Tunnicliffe was at the Harry McDonough Sailing Center, where she caught up with kids and staff letting out the sail near Castle Island.

"On days like this, if they're not on a boat or a lagoon, they're either on a paddleboat, kayak, or the just in the water trying to cool off— and if the water isn't doing it for them, we send them to Sully's to grab an ice cream," Assistant Director of HMSC Wil Hingston said.
