BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Under clear skies on Tuesday the Boston Common's Frog Pond opened their Spray Pool, shooting a funnel of water high above those looking to cool off from the summer heat.
Another attraction nearby is the Frog Pond Carousel, which is open everyday in the summer 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
According to officials, the Frog Pond is operated under a public private partnership with the City of Boston and The Skating Club of Boston, as the area is used as a ice skating rink in the winters.

WBZ's Karyn Regal was there at opening day, where one of the local frogs could be seen showing off his dance moves.
On day one of the frog pond, the visitors while some were just excited to splash around in the water, others were more impressed by the organization and opportunities at hand.
"I think it's really cool because you can play with all your friends and you can meet new people— so that's my thoughts about it," said 9-year-old Kevin.
