Steamship Authority And Hy-Line Cruises Cancel Trips Due To Weather

HYANNIS, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Severe weather conditions canceled several ferry trips to Martha’s Vineyard on Friday morning.  

Hyline Cruises, which operates ferry service from Hyannis to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard, cancelled the following trips due to weather conditions.  

  • Hyannis-Martha's Vineyard at 11:40 a.m.  
  • Hyannis-Nantucket at 2:25 p.m.
  • Martha’s Vineyard-Hyannis at 3:35 p.m.
  • Nantucket-Hyannis at 4:10 p.m.  
  • Hyannis-Martha's Vineyard at 4:50 p.m.  
  • Martha’s Vineyard-Hyannis at 6:10 p.m.  

The Steamship Authority also diverted scheduled ferry service due to weather conditions.   

  • The Woods Hole to Oak Bluffs trip at 1:35 p.m. has been diverted from OB to VH due to weather conditions.
  • The Woods Hole to Oak Bluffs trip at 2:30 p.m. has been diverted from OB to VH due to weather conditions.
  • The Oak Bluffs to Woods Hole trip at 3:45 p.m. has been diverted from OB to VH due to weather conditions.
  • The Woods Hole to Oak Bluffs trip at 4:05 p.m. has been diverted from OB to VH due to weather conditions.
  • The Woods Hole to Oak Bluffs trip at 5:00 p.m. has been diverted from OB to VH due to weather conditions.
  • The Oak Bluffs to Woods Hole trip at 5:20 p.m. has been diverted from OB to VH due to weather conditions.
  • The Oak Bluffs to Woods Hole trip at 6:15 p.m. has been diverted from OB to VH due to weather conditions.
