BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Storrow Drive opened back up on Friday after a major Storrowing at the Boston University Bridge early in the morning.
State Police said they and several other agencies responded to a tractor-trailer that had smashed into the bridge on the eastbound side and rolled over at about 2:00 AM on Friday. State Police said the driver in the crash, a 67-year-old from Mattapoisett, was apparently unharmed. He was out of the truck and walking around when they arrived.
The truck was carrying sprouts. In addition to the crash debris, state crews had to tackle an oil spill from the truck.
