BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The series finale of Stranger Things has divided fans, but it also had people revisiting the finales of their favorite shows.
From The Vampire Diaries to Rap Sh!t, some sitcoms have left audiences flabbergasted by how writers' rooms decided to end certain shows. Some sitcoms like The Wayans Bros. and Moesha weren't even allowed to have proper season finales. People are now sounding off in frustration about the issue. The series finale of Stranger Things has fans feeling overwhelmed, underwhelmed, or just whelmed.
"I was a bit disappointed. I was expecting more to happen, like unfortunately more deaths, but I didn't really, I don't want to spoil anything, but I just, I thought more would happen," one fan in Massachusetts said.
While there are countless shows where the series finale didn't stick the landing, Cory from Medford understands the latter on the matter.
"I'm a huge Star Trek fan, and the final episode of Star Trek Enterprise was actually an episode of Star Trek The Next Generation, and it starts arguments with all my friends."

Emotions were mixed across social media as fans said goodbye to their favorite characters.
"I do watch it. I think I like the first couple of seasons a little better, though. Okay ending. I don't know, probably won't watch it again," one local said.
But for every fan disappointed with a series finale, there's another left satisfied. Fans say all they can do is hope for the best.
"There is nothing worse than a crap ending. You never really know how it's going to end, so that's why you kind of commit to it. But then yeah, sometimes it does feel underwhelming," another resident said.
