WBZ NewsRadio's James Rojas spoke to some people who are not bothered by the noise at all.
“I’ve lived here my whole life, so I’m used to the noise, I actually prefer the noise [because] it helps me, I don’t know. Anytime I’ve gone away that’s when I have a hard time sleeping.”
While excessive noise does make it difficult to have sweet dreams, there are other factors that keep us awake at night.

“A lot of people use their phones more than ever now, you know? Scrolling on social media and different [subjects], that keeps them up at night,” said one Boston resident who spoke to WBZ NewsRadio.
“Usually, [it’s] the phone or electronics or talking to someone or doing something but you have to shut everything down if you want to go to sleep,” said another.
Furthermore, the study showed that Miami is the worst place to get a proper night’s rest, with New York City ranked the third worst place.
