BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Love is in the air in Boston, according to a new study by an online men's health clinic, "From Mars."
Boston is listed as the second best city in the United States for dating, just behind San Francisco which comes in at number one. From Mars say their ranking was based off the many bars, restaurants, and waterside date locations available for love birds around the city.
"There are a lot of great places around here that are super romantic, he's taken me to a few different restaurants that just kind of make me feel like a princess," a local named Sage told WBZ's Shari Small while on a stroll through the North End with her boyfriend.

According to From Mars, Boston has the highest number of Google searches for date ideas in the city, and receives high scores for its restaurants and bars. A spokesperson of From Mars told WBZ NewsRadio that the study also named Boston as the ninth most romantic city in the country.
WBZ's Shari Small set out for the North End to ask couples their thoughts on Boston's romance scene.
"In the Italian quarters, it's very very good, the ambiance is fantastic," a couple visiting from Manchester, England said in agreement with Boston's high placement.
According to the study, it turns out, those looking for love in Boston, might be looking in the right place.
