BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — One of the best cities in the world to live in, is right here in our backyard. In the top ten list of the one-thousand best cities in the world, Boston ranks as the eleventh best city on the list.

U-K based school Oxford Economics recently released a global cities index – ranking cities based on five categories, including quality of life, environment and its country’s governance, according to the study.
The highest scoring categories for Boston included economics and human capital. Boston has always been regarded as a hub for technology, innovation, and college education.
As for the top three cities in the world, New York City, London, and San Jose, California took the top spots.
