Sudbury Spraying For Mosquitoes Again Amid EEE Threat

SUDBURY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Another spraying for mosquitoes is scheduled for Tuesday night as officials try to fight off the threat of EEE around MetroWest.

This comes after a five-year-old girl was diagnosed with the virus. Now, residents are worried.

“It’s pretty concerning,” one resident said. “It’s something that I’m taking personally very seriously.”

Sudbury will spray for mosquitos north of Route 27 Tuesday night.

According to a resident, officials have been on top of keeping the community informed.

“We’ve gotten emails, and tweets, and alerts on a regular basis to sort of keep us updated with what’s happening within the town, what they’re doing to help protect the community, and what we can do at home,” the Sudbury resident said.
