BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The summer solstice is now upon us, but don't expect extended summer-like weather anytime soon.
That according to WBZ TV Meteorologist Eric Fischer.
He said that while temperatures toward the end of this week will rise along with the humidity levels, overall, the cooler and unsettled weather pattern is here to stay.
He said El Nino out in the Pacific is to blame for this unseasonably cool and wet weather pattern we've had for much of the spring.
And as far as his forecasting goes, he sees this same unsettled pattern in place at least throughout July. "I don't see any end in sight to this pattern," he said. "Try to find two days in a row without rain in the Boston area, you're not going to find it anytime soon."
