BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — There were some light flurries on Friday in Boston, but more snow is on its way to the Bay State.
According to the National Weather Service, a storm system passing through New England is expected to bring more snow on Tuesday, mostly in the southern part of the region though. In Boston, the system will most likely bring rain.
For this weekend, the forecast calls for a breezy and more scattered snow Saturday night in some areas of state. Highs in the mid-40s ahead of a slight warm up on Sunday. Clouds and low temperatures return on Monday.
The last major snow in Greater Boston happened in February.
