BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — It is not just the planes that are in the air at Logan International Airport.

A recent survey from the Florida-based dating website DatingAdvice.com ranked the top 100 U.S. airports to find love and make a romantic connection. The website surveyed 3,000 travelers based on their own travel experiences.

"Believe it or not, finding love while waiting for your flight is not just the plot of a rom-com, it’s a TikTok phenomenon," the website wrote. "The airport crush is now a social trend, with airports being the newest hotspot for romantic daydreams."

Logan Airport ranked 37th on the list, the only Massachusetts airport to do so.

WBZ NewsRadio spoke with people at Logan Friday to get their reactions.

"Bostonians tend to be marginally friendly, which fits with me, so that makes sense," one airport traveler said.

"Yeah, Boston, [37] out of 100, sounds about right," another person said. "Not super difficult, not super easy."

"Probably pretty hard to make a connection in our extremes of weather," one man said. "Either you’re super sweaty or super cold, or maybe a little pissed off because of the traffic getting here."

"I don’t think I want to meet someone at the airport," said one woman.

"I kinda did find love at the airport two years ago with my boyfriend," said Georgia. "I stopped him and I talked to him."

According to the survey, the most romantic airport in the nation is Palm Beach International in West Palm Beach, Florida. Orlando International, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International, Tampa International, and O'Hare International in Chicago rounded out the top five.
