Suspect Arrested After Man Injured In Boston Stabbing

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A suspect has been taken into custody for allegedly stabbing a man early Saturday morning.

Vincent Norwood, 44, was arrested for assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon.

The male victim was injured from an apparent stab wound. According to authorities, he was approached by two men — one of the men was in a wheelchair — and one woman.

The victim said he gave change to the man in the wheelchair. Then the other man, who authorities believe to be Norwood, became “verbally aggressive” toward him and produced a small knife, according to Boston Police.

The victim was stabbed in the arm. His injuries were non-life threatening.

Police found a knife in Norwood's pocket after locating him. He is expected to be arraigned on Monday.
