Suspect Arrested After Stabbing Outside Hasidic Center In Brighton

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston police said a man was taken to the hospital after being stabbed in Brighton on Thursday afternoon.

Authorities said the call came in at 1:19 p.m. for a stabbing on the corner of Chestnut Hill Ave and Washington Street near Dighton Street.

According to a mass text sent to parents of campers at the facility, the victim has been identified as Rabbi Shlomo Noginski.

Noginski was taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries to his arm, where he remains in stable condition.

Police said one suspect has been arrested and investigation is underway.
