Suspect Arrested In Connection With Double Stabbing At Roxbury Diner

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A man was arrested in connection with a double stabbing at a diner in Roxbury Saturday night.

Boston police said they responded at around 9:12 p.m. to the area of 1003 Massachusetts Ave., Liberty Diner, for a report of a person stabbed.

Officers found an individual holding a man on the ground who was armed with a knife, police said. The officers quickly disarmed the man and took him into custody.

Police said two male victims were taken to local hospitals, one with life-threatening injuries and one with non-life-threatening injuries.

Homicide detectives responded to the scene and recovered two knives found at the scene, according to police.

Conrad Burnette, 62, of Milton, was charged with two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Burnette is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
