Suspect Caught On Camera In Cohasset Removes Mask Before Break-In

COHASSET, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Authorities are asking for the public's help identifying a suspected burglar whose image was caught on a Cohasset homeowner's doorbell camera, because he removed his mask before breaking in.

The Cohasset Police Department said it's investigating the breaking and entering, which happened at approximately 1:30 a.m. Sunday at a home in the area of Atlantic Avenue.

"The homeowners were not home, but their doorbell camera captured excellent photos of the suspect, who was wearing a mask that he removed as he broke into the home," CPD said. "Police are working to determine what items may have been stolen from the house."

CPD said anyone who recognizes the suspect in the photos or has any information on this incident is asked to contact detectives at 781-383-1055 x 6107 or email mlopes@cohassetpolice.com, and that all calls and tips can be anonymous.
